Founders Circle Nominations

I. Cultural Stewardship & Philanthropic Leadership

A Circle Defined by Stewardship, Not Status

The Linea Lucis Founders Circle is a discreet body of cultural stewards committed to the ethical preservation of human beauty, identity, and heritage through fine art.

This is not a donor list.
This is not a visibility platform.
This is not a social club.

It is a long-term stewardship circle for individuals and families whose actions demonstrate sustained responsibility toward culture, history, and human dignity.

Eligibility Philosophy

Membership in the Founders Circle is by nomination only.

Financial capacity alone does not qualify an individual for inclusion.

In fact, separating wealth from eligibility is essential to preserving the integrity and credibility of this circle.

II. Who May Nominate Founders Circle Candidates

Due to the level of responsibility involved, nominations are accepted only from individuals and institutions with established credibility, including:

  • Professors and senior academics in anthropology, history, or cultural studies
  • Directors and senior leaders at:
    • Cultural preservation organizations
    • Human rights institutions
    • Global heritage NGOs
    • Museums, archives, or research councils
  • Leaders of long-standing philanthropic foundations with cultural or humanitarian mandates

Student nominations are not accepted for this category.

III. Who Should Be Nominated

A Founders Circle nominee typically demonstrates:

  • 10+ years of sustained philanthropic or cultural engagement
  • Active involvement in heritage preservation, human rights, or cultural institutions
  • Ethical leadership beyond financial contribution
  • A stewardship mindset grounded in discretion and continuity

Nominees may be individuals or families.

IV. What the Founders Circle Supports

Members of the Founders Circle help ensure:

  • Museum-grade production and archival standards
  • Ethical treatment, consent, and protection of models
  • Long-term documentation of regional cultural identity
  • Support for artists, scholars, and cultural initiatives
  • Preservation of discretion and independence from commercial pressures

This circle exists to protect culture, not to extract from it.

Participation & Recognition

Founder’s Circle participation may include:

  • Private previews and closed cultural briefings
  • Early access to curated regional series
  • Optional underwriting of specific projects or fellowships
  • Advisory involvement

Recognition is entirely optional and may range from anonymous to named patron, at the member’s discretion.

Vetting, Review & Discretion

  • All nominations are reviewed confidentially
  • Background and alignment are assessed
  • Additional verification may be requested
  • Invitations are extended selectively and privately

Non-selected nominations are treated with discretion and are not retained without consent.

V. Founders Circle Nomination Questions

  1. Describe the nominee’s long-term involvement in cultural or humanitarian work.
  2. What distinguishes their contribution beyond financial support?
  3. How does their philosophy align with ethical preservation?
  4. Why is this individual suited for stewardship rather than visibility?

VI. What to Submit
