Human Rights & Anti-Exploitation Commitment

1. Introduction & Our Commitment

At Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art, we believe in the dignity, autonomy, and safety of every individual we work with — whether a model, artist, collaborator, or client. We categorically reject any form of exploitation, forced labor, coercion, trafficking, or abuse. We commit to conducting our business with integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights, regardless of geography, ethnicity, gender, background or economic status. We hold ourselves and our partners to the highest ethical standards.

2. Scope of Our Policy

This policy applies to:

  • All models, talent, and collaborators represented by or working through Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art.
  • All photographers, studios, galleries, agents, clients, collectors, and third-party partners we engage with — globally.
  • All recruitment, contracting, bookings, and collaborations — both modeling assignments and fine-art projects.

We expect everyone who works with or through us to abide by these standards.

3. What We Prohibit

Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art has a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Forced, coerced, or involuntary labor.
  • Debt bondage, human trafficking, deception, coercion, or manipulation of talent.
  • Withholding or confiscation of passports, identification, or personal documents.
  • Unreasonable demands, unsafe working conditions, abusive behavior, or exploitation of any kind.
  • Underage work, or recruiting individuals without valid documentation or consent.

Any violation of this policy is grounds for immediate termination of representation or partnership, and (when applicable) reporting to proper authorities.

4. Our Ethical Practices & Protections

To safeguard all individuals involved with Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art, we commit to the following practices:

  • Transparent Contracts: Every model and collaborator receives a written contract clearly defining the scope of work, compensation, rights, usage, and release terms.
  • Fair Compensation & Consent: Models keep 80% of earnings from standard modeling work; for fine-art collaborations (especially high-value custom pieces), we ensure transparent, fair, and negotiated remuneration.
  • Voluntary Participation: Participation in any project — modeling or fine art — is strictly voluntary, and consent is required, documented, and re-confirmed.
  • Right to Opt-Out: Talent may withdraw consent before publication or sale, or revoke usage rights if circumstances change.
  • Secure Handling of Documents: Personal documents (IDs, passports) are never held as condition of work; we never withhold them.
  • Respectful Working Environment: We enforce safe, respectful, non-coercive working conditions. No one is pressured, manipulated, or misled.
  • Transparency with Clients & Collectors: Clients, galleries, and buyers are informed of our ethics policy and required to commit to respectful, legal treatment of talent.
  • Grievance & Reporting Mechanism: We provide a clear channel for models, collaborators, and partners to report any concern, misconduct, or exploitation — including anonymous reporting if needed.

5. Due Diligence & Partner Screening

Although we do not manufacture goods or operate large supply-chains, we apply rigorous screening and due diligence for all third-party partners, clients, and collaborators. This includes:

  • Verifying identity, background, and reputation of clients, collectors, and studios.
  • Ensuring that all parties commit in writing to respect human-rights, fair labor, and ethical treatment.
  • Avoiding engagements with entities or clients who have histories or credible allegations of abuse, trafficking, or exploitation.
  • Maintaining oversight over all collaborations and contracts — with periodic reviews to ensure compliance with our ethical standards.

6. Training, Awareness & Culture of Respect

We believe in proactive prevention. We ensure that all internal staff, agents, and key partners:

  • Understand the risks of exploitation and trafficking in modeling / talent / art industries
  • Are trained on our ethics policy, consent procedures, labor rights, and safe-work practices
  • Are aware of reporting channels, and know how to respond to concerns in a respectful, lawful, and timely manner

We continuously review and update these policies in light of evolving global conditions, legal standards, and best practices in human rights and labor protections.

7. Transparency & Accountability

We pledge to remain transparent. If any allegation or concern arises, we commit to:

  • Investigate thoroughly
  • Take immediate corrective action, including severing ties if needed
  • Report to relevant authorities when appropriate
  • Support any individual who has been exploited, including helping them access legal or social services

While no organization can guarantee zero risk everywhere, our goal is to minimize risk and respond decisively to any violation.

8. Invitation to Our Partners & Community

By working with Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art — as a model, artist, client, collector, or collaborator — you are joining a community built on respect, dignity, consent, fairness, and art-driven values.

We believe in empowering individuals, honoring cultural diversity, and creating art that reflects humanity — not exploitation.

If you share these values and believe in ethical, respectful, and creative collaboration, we invite you to join us.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Does Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art ever hold a model’s passport or identity documents?
A: No. We believe personal documents must remain with the individual at all times. We never request passports or documents as a condition of work or representation.

Q: What if a model feels uncomfortable or wants to quit a shoot/project?
A: Participation is always voluntary. A model has the right to refuse participation, withdraw consent, or stop at any time. We respect their autonomy and safety above all.

Q: How does Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art ensure clients or collectors treat talent ethically?
A: All clients, galleries, and collectors must sign agreements acknowledging our ethics policy before proceeding. We vet all partners and refuse any request that violates dignity, consent, or safety.

Q: What if someone reports abuse, coercion, or trafficking?
A: We take all reports seriously. We investigate immediately, cooperate with authorities when needed, and terminate any relationship found to violate our policy. We also offer support to those affected.

Q: Does Ladies Lounge | Models + Fine Art operate globally? Do policies apply in all countries?
A: Yes. Our ethical standards apply globally, regardless of location. We hold ourselves and all partners to the same principles, everywhere we operate.

Why Having This Policy Matters

  •  It defines our values clearly — and publicly. This helps builds trust with models, collaborators, collectors, and clients.
  • It distinguishes us from agencies or firms who treat models primarily as commodities — instead, we treat them as human beings, artists, partners.
  • It helps us stay ahead of legal, ethical, and reputational risks associated with exploitation, trafficking, or coercion — especially in international modeling or fine-art contexts, where causes for concern are higher.
  • It aligns with global best practices for human rights, labor ethics, and corporate responsibility.
